Eloisa Borah - Trick or Treat

TRICK or TREAT!

We have a TREAT for you … and we will even share our TRICK

I am Eloisa Gomez Borah from the Rosenfeld Library at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.  My software-development partner, Tim Carlson, and I are the presenters for this IL2007 session:

Wednesday, October 31st, 2:45 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

That’s on Halloween!  Not so great, because it is so late in the conference, that we know some of you will be gone to catch a flight home.    So, we came up with this plan to meet as many of you as we can, earlier in the conference.

Find us anywhere anytime at the conference and greet us with “trick or treat” and we will give you a TREAT (ample supply, but limited nonetheless).  If you like, you can then ask us about our TRICK, how we turned a successful library application, eLibrarian 2.0, into a successful roll-out (ASKME Manager) in multiple non-library settings.

Here's a sneak preview:  ASKME Manager

Between Tim and I, we have attended at least five Internet Librarian conferences in the past.  We are first time presenters at IL this year, but you may have caught our related presentations in the past at conferences such as: Syllabus/Campus Technology, LOEX, VRD, and ACRL.

I'd like to share this landing-spaceship view of the UCLA Anderson School Complex -- that's the landing-helicopter view, to you non-SciFi folks.  The Rosenfeld Library is the south-most building, with the gun-sight on the roof.

Looking forward to seeing you at IL2007!
